Education for girls is central to effective community development. We understand education systems and work with national ministries and individual schools. We believe that better evidence can improve education practice, shape interventions, and increase impact. Alongside this, we help organisations to become better at internal learning, and we share our own learning as widely as possible across the sector.
Lots of our work on girls' education is linked to the FCDO's Girls' Education Challenge. In addition, our work on girls' education intersects with our other areas of sector expertise. This includes studies on the specific ways in which digital technologies can be used to improve education for girls. Jigsaw has recently conducted work focused on girls' education for Opportunity International, PEAS, and Plan - have a look at our case studies to learn more.
